Harper Stars in Broadway-Bound 'Looped'

Thursday November 13, 2008

Emmy-winner Valerie Harper and Tony-winner Jarrod Emick are starring in a new production of the Broadway-bound play Looped, based on Tallullah Bankhead’s looping session for the movie Die, Die, My Darling.

The Matthew Lombardo play runs December 31 through February 15 at the Cuillo Centre for the Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida, and it is being directed by Rob Ruggiero. Opening night is January 7.

The show debuted this year with Harper at the Pasadena Playhouse. Harper is best-known for her role as Rhoda Morgenstern in the TV shows Mary Tyler Moore and Rhoda. Emick won his Tony for Damn Yankees.
