Touring Shows Feel Economic Pinch

While mega-hits like Wicked continue to perform well on the road, overall ticket sales were down 5 percent in Variety's most recent roundup of road show sales.

Ticket sales for the week of November 17 through 23 yielded a total gross just over $11 million for the 14 touring shows. Wicked, in Minneapolis, topped the list with $1,476,712. Variety reported.
