Bloody Sunday: Nine Shows Close
Saturday January 3, 2009

I think it's sad when one show closes . . . but nine!?!
Nine Broadway theaters are dark as of Sunday, January 4. To be sure, some were seasonal and expected to close, such as Irving Berlin's White Christmas, which topped the box office for two weeks, Slava's Snow Show, and Liza's at the Palace.
Another, Jason Robert Brown's 13, had only been up a few months, and still other had respectably long runs.Rounding out the list of closing shows are: Boeing-Boeing, Dividing the Estate, Grease, Hairspray, and Young Frankenstein.
