A Final Night with George W Bush, has already recouped its initial $2.09 million capitalization, twice breaking house sales records at the Cort Theatre en route. The limited-run show has been up less than a month.
Produced by Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, and Steve Traxler, and directed by Adam McKay, You're Welcome marks the Broadway debut of TV and screen star Ferrell.
According to The Broadway League's latest tally of weekly grosses and capacities for the week ending February 15, Ferrell's show grossed almost $850,000 with more than 98 percent of seats full.
