Critics Give 'Guys and Dolls' a Monday-Morning Hangover

New York critics were less than kind to the latest revival of the classic musical comedy Guys and Dolls, which opened Sunday at the Nederlander Theatre.

The main finger-pointing seemed to be toward director Des McAnuff, who certainly has his Broadway chops with Jersey Boys and How to Succeed in Business, but stars Craig Bierko, Oliver Platt, and Lauren Graham fared no better.
