The four-time Tony-winning best musical In the Heights will kick off a national tour in October in Tampa Bay, Florida.

In the Heights tells the Independence Day-in-the-life of several characters who call the Washington Heights section of New York City home.

In addition to Tampa Bay, the tour will have stops in Atlanta, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Houston and San Diego, and in several other cities.

Producers announced that the show’s original director, Thomas Kail, and Tony-winning choreographer, Andy Blankenbuehler, will be with the production.
