Hello, 'Birdie'

It's been almost 50 years since Conrad Birdie shook things up for the MacAfees of Sweet Apple, Ohio. But he's coming back in the fall, and Noland Gerard Funk will be playing him.
The Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that Funk, who starred in Nickelodeon's Spectacular!, will join John Stamos, Gina Gershon and Bill Irwin in the first Broadway revival of Bye Bye Birdie since it closed in 1961. The show is slated to open October 15 and will be the first production in the Henry Miller Theatre, which is part of the new Bank of America tower on 43rd Street.
Birdie was the Tony-winning Best Musical in '61, with Dick Van Dyke and Gower Champion also taking Tonys. This go-round will be directed and choreographed by Robert Longbottom.
