Giggling? No. Gagging? No. Good actors? Yes.

Word got out last week through the New York Post that the all-star cast of God of Carnage lost it on stage when James Gandolfini and Hope Davis forgot lines, started laughing, couldn’t stop and delayed the show.
Turns out an equipment malfunction occurred just as Davis was supposed to bend over a bowl and appear to throw up violently. She bent, the Post said in a follow-up story, but there was no throwing up. So, Davis and the audience waited as Jeff Daniels walked offstage to get her a soft drink to have something to spew.
What appeared to be a bad miscue was really a case of good actors doing their jobs well.
