Four-time Tony award-winning singer/actor Audra McDonald will be featured in the 120th anniversary celebration at Carnegie Hall. The event will feature world-class performers in other genres as well, including cellist Yo-Yo Ma and pianist Emanuel Ax.

The event happens live at Carnegie Hall on May 5th with regular tickets ranging from $50 to $180, with the Gala tickets reaching up into the stratosphere of $5,000 each. But watching the filmed version of the show: free (on PBS). PBS' will televise the anniversary celebration May 31st as part of its series, "Great Performances," and it surely will be.

To get tickets to the live show, call Carnegie Charge at (212) 247-7800 or visit their website.
