Covering the 2011 Tony Awards Press Reception last Wednesday was an absolute blast! I was able to interview almost all the musical nominees and a few of the play noms.
While only two musicals are vying for "Best Revival of a Musical," several new showtuners are up for "Best Musical," and several plays -- some thought-provoking, others controversial -- are duking it out for the "Best Play" and "Best Revival of a Play" honors June 12th.
Who will win? Which show will reign supreme? The list of the 2011 Tony Award Nominees is an interesting read, and I, for one, will place a few bets on the no-brainers and a fabulous dark-horse that could shock everyone.
