Care for some Hitchcock in your suspense musicals? Then Broadway will have the perfect show for you in 2012.

The novel-turned-film-turned-musical Rebecca has wowed audiences around the world since it premiered in Vienna in 2006. Based on the novel by Daphne du Maurier and the look of Alfred Hitchcock's Academy Award-winning film, Rebecca is set to open on Broadway April 22, 2012, just in time for Tony Award eligibility.

Cast and creative have not been announced, but word has it Master Class' Sierra Boggess has been approached to play the role of "I." Michael Kunze wrote the book and lyrics and Sylvester Levay composed the music. Tony Award-winner Michael Blakemore and Francesca Zambello will direct.
