For those of you who missed seeing your favorite wolverine singing and dancing on Broadway before his gig was up January 1st, you will have another chance during the 2013-2014 Broadway season.

Announced today, Jackman will return to Broadway in the title role of Stephen Schwartz and Aaron Sorkin's original musical based on the life of legendary magician and entertainer, Harry Houdini. Jackman just wrapped his Broadway engagement singing with an 18-piece orchestra and will soon film the hotly anticipated film version of the Tony Award-winning musical Les Misérables.

Academy Award and Grammy Award-winning Schwartz is best known for his musicals, which include Wicked, Godspell, and Pippin, plus a foray into writing opera with Séance on a Wet Afternoon. Sorkin is an Academy Award-winning and Emmy Award-winning writer. The production will be helmed by Tony Award-winning director Jack O'Brien.

Further casting and show information on Houdini will be announced soon.
