Starring "Sex in the City" television star Cynthia Nixon, the acclaimed production of Wit will end its Broadway run.
Manhattan Theatre Club's production of Margaret Edson's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Wit, follows the journey of a poetry professor who battles cancer. Directed by Lynne Meadow, the show has been a critical favorite and just might win over the Tony Award nominators.
The creative team for Wit includes Scenic Designer Santo Loquasto, Costume Designer Jennifer von Mayrhauser, Lighting Designer Peter Kaczorowski, Sound Designer Jill BC Du Boff, and Specialty Staging Consultant J. David Brimmer.
Showing at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre at 261 West 47th Street, Wit will close after this Saturday evening's performance on March 17, 2012. Tickets to the final few shows can be purchased on the website.
