Two-time Grammy Award-nominated singer, Maureen McGovern, will headline at New York City's newest Broadway nightclub in December 2012.
McGovern will perform seasonal songs during her acclaimed show "Home For The Holidays" from December 18 to 23 at the new thespian hangout, 54 Below. Her Musical Director will be Jeffrey Harris, who also plays piano, with Jay Leonhart on bass.
In 1981, McGovern made her Broadway debut in The Pirates of Penzance as "Mabel," then played "Luisa" opposite Raul Julia in Nine and "Polly Peachum" in Three Penny Opera with pop singer/songwriter Sting. She was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for "Marmee" in Little Women, The Musical on Broadway, starring with Tony winner Sutton Foster.
