'Flashdance the Musical' Sets the Stage for National Tour Opening

If you thought the 1980's were long gone, you must not have a teenager or ever watched "Glee."

The '80's are very much alive and kicking, and to prove it, one of the biggest surprise hit films of that decade has been adapted for the stage. Flashdance the Musical follows a female steel mill worker who dreams of being a dancer. The national tour opens in Pittsburgh January 3, 2013, and will open on Broadway in August.
