The talk of the season, the film version of Les Misérables, has taken the world by storm, with a hit film at the box office, a #1 soundtrack, and now a slew of nominations for the 85th Annual Academy Awards.
Not surprisingly, two well-known faces in the cast -- Tony Award winner Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway -- have been honored with nominations, while Academy Award winner Russell Crowe and the legit Broadway and West End performers were overlooked. Also nominated is the new song, "Suddenly," written especially for the film.
