Ask the Lawyer

Do you have legal questions you’ve always wanted to ask but could never afford to have answered? Spend an evening with Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLA). VLA provides legal assistance to over 10,000 clients each year in a variety of ways, including pro bono case placements for low-income artists and nonprofit arts organizations, the VLA Legal Clinic, nonprofit incorporation and 501(c)(3) assistance program, the Edmond de Rothschild Foundation Nonprofit Assistance Program, and the Art Law Line, a legal hotline.

In this seminar, two seasoned professionals with more than twenty years experience will answer your arts-related legal questions. Questions will be collected before the start of the seminar so bring your questions with you and be ready for some free legal advice!
