'Billy Elliot' Nabs Drama Desk Best Musical


It was a full day's work for the Billy Elliot the musical as it garnered a 10 Drama Desk Awards, with winners announced May 17, 2009 at New York's Friars Club.

The Drama Desk is an organization of New York-based critics and writers who recognize excellence in all areas of New York theater.

The winners are in bold among the following nominees.
