If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet centers around 15 year old Anna who is bullied at school for her weight. Her teacher mom and eco-warrior dad are no help with her plight. She finally finds someone she can talk to in her Uncle Terry who shows up out of nowhere. The dysfunctional family is in for a rude awakening once Uncle Terry grabs hold with his blistering honesty.

Directed by Michael Longhurst, If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet is presented by the Roundabout Theatre Company, who also produced The Mystery of Edwin Drood starring Stephanie J. Block and Chita Rivera, and Cyrano de Bergerac, starring Tony winner Douglas Hodge, for the 2012-2013 season.

If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet stars Annie Funke as "Anna," Michelle Gomez as her mother "Fiona," movie star Jake Gyllenhaal as the estranged "Uncle Terry," and Brían F. O’Byrne as Anna's environmentalist father "George."

The impressive creative team includes 2011 Tony nominee Beowulf Boritt as Scenic Designer, Tony-winning Costume Designer Susan Hilferty, Tony-winning Lighting Designer Natasha Katz, with Obadiah Eaves on Sound and also providing original music for the production. Ben Furey is the Dialect Coach.

The American premiere of Nick Payne's If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet began Preview performances August 24, 2012, at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre and held its official Opening Night on September 20, 2012. This production was set for a strictly limited run of 13 weeks but extended the engagement through December 23, 2012.
