About This Show:

God of Carnage, a new Broadway play by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton, comes to Broadway following a sold-out 2008 run in London's West End. London critics called it "tense, edgy, funny, and incisive."

God of Carnage deals with the aftermath of a playground altercation between two boys and what happens when their parents meet to talk about it. Producers call it a “comedy of manners without the manners.”

Who's Who and What's What:

God of Carnage features an opening-night cast of TV and movie luminaries including Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini, and Marcia Gay Harden, and is directed by Matthew Warchus.

The show reunites the creative team behind the Tony-winning Best Play Art. It is designed by Mark Thompson; with lighting by Hugh Vanstone; sound by Simon Baker and Chris Cronin; and music by Gary Yershon.
