About This Show:

The Norman Conquests is a 1973 triology of plays by Alan Ayckbourn recently successfully revived at London’s Old Vic Theatre. At an English country weekend, would-be adulterer, Norman, is out to seduce his sister-in-law. The three plays, Table Manners, Living Together, and Round and Round the Garden look at the events from three perspectives, respectively the dining room, living room, and garden.

Norman’s fumbling attempts at conquest frustrate him and entertain the audience.

Who's Who and What's What:

Directing Ayckbourn’s play is Matthew Warchus, who brought another London transfer, Boeing-Boeing, to Broadway last year to rave reviews. The Norman Conquests star Amelia Bullmore, Jessica Hynes, Stephen Mangan (as Norman), Ben Miles, Paul Ritter, and Amanda Roo.
