Touring Shows
Broadway is just the first stop for a lot of shows. Just because a show has closed on Broadway doesn't mean that it is gone. Most shows make their money through national tours. Some shows will stay open on Broadway even though they are loosing money just to create enough of a name so that the national tour will sell well.
