Charles Ross is a Canadian actor who has taken two of the most popular trilogies and turned them into one man shows. The shows aren't spoofs or satires of the films. Instead he has captured the vocal and physical characteristics of characters with love. Clearly this is a man who loves these movies.
He has toured all over performing. He was invited to perform at Celebration 3, Lucasfilm's official movie release convention for Star Wars: Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith.

One Man Star Wars:
Written and performed by Charles Ross
Directed by TJ Dawe
I have only seen only seen the video clip of this from his website, but he has captured this iconic movie perfectly. It is him alone on stage, and yet you see every character. My favorite moment is Luke gazing at the twin setting suns on Tatooine with the breeze ruffling his forehead.

Here, again, I've only seen the video which shows the opening of the performance. Ross acurate captures Gandolf, Frodo, Bilbo Baggins and Sam Gamgee from the movies. Although he clearly does an excellent job, The Lord of the Rings doesn't resonate for me like Star Wars. Probably because I've seen Star Wars at least a dozen times and Lord of the Rings only twice.

Review of One Man Star Wars:
My husband and I went to see this together. We both enjoyed it very much and he begged me to let him write the review for this.

I have always loved Star Wars. From the first time I saw the original movie in a drive-in in up-state New York with my parents to the standing in line for an hour or two with my friend when we went to see Return of the Jedi, I have been hooked. George Lucas became the master of the sci-fi, the fantasy, the other worldly creatures and, of course, the lightsabers. How could a male child my age not be hooked on this narcotic called Star Wars?
